HI
I am trying to integrate DMC-2183 WITH AMP-20341 . I have two AMP-20341 which are installed on to the controller.
Issue is with power supply.
J2 connector shows +/-12 v and +5 v power supply pads.
J9 connector on amplifer has +/- 12V power supply.

now the doubt is
do we have to individually give supply to all these ( individual +/-12 v to both amplifier cards and another +/- 12v to controller card ) ?

Hi Sudersan,

The J2 connector should have Molex pins for the power connector. J2 is to power the DMC-2183 controller itself. As for the AMP-20341s each of those will require a bipolar DC power supply. The AMP-20341 requires a +/- 12-30 VDC supply, and it would be powered through the J9 connector. You would need to provide power to J2 on the main controller, and to the J9 connector on each of the AMP-20341 units.

Refer to the DMC-21x3 Accessories Manual for more information on powering the AMP-20341:

HI KushalP

sorry for the delay in reply. I was away for the last one and half month . thankful to you for the prompt help. Just one more doubt . we have 4 motor outputs for each of the amplifier. what is the maximum voltage we can get at the motor output pins (2-pin). normally servo motors comes with three wires. how do we connect it here?
