I have a problem on DMC-4080. 3 years ago we installed a machines with a DMC 4080 stand alone motion controller , connected by ethernet with a PLC Omron , at that time I had not problem to control them by ethernet connection PLC and DMC and comunication was Ok .
Last week I went to the customer for some checks and saw that DMC and PLC communicate only once and saw that DMC PLC and communicate only once, after PLC send message but DMC do not receive it so when I do a RS command nothing happened and I had to switch off the main panel. I have noticed that is also difficult to have ethernet comunication with GalilTool software, sometimes recognize the card (ethernet) and sometimes no, with serial communication i had no problems.
Checked TCP port on PLC it result open, checked handl (A) on DMC, result -2

Do you know a possible cause, which informations you needs for best helping me?
