i have i/o cards on a machine that are rs422 at 0x6B;//baudrate 921600
can galil serial ports support this with a rs232/485 converter?
or will i have to send via an arduino etc?

Hello Battwell,
The baud rate of a serial connection is going to be dictated by the hardware UART coordinating communication. Galil Controllers are designed for RS232 communication at a maximum baud rate of 115,200.
Galil does offer an rs422 option but the maximum communication speed would not change.

I thought that may be the case
I have an arduino talking to the io modules so I will interface that via serial to galil controller
