Hello.
I have a servo amplifier AMP-20540.
I want to buy servos, but I have a question.

Leadshine have servo motors BLDC BLM 57180 (180W 36VDC) http://www.leadshine.com/productdetail.aspx?type=products&category=serv…

and low voltage AC servo motors AMC602V36 (200W 36VDC) http://www.leadshine.com/productdetail.aspx?type=products&category=serv…

first should work. But the second will work or not?
Thanks.

Hi paganel,

The second motor you provided a link for has an inductance that is below the minimum load inductance for the AMP-20540 by .08 mH. It may work but you may see the adverse effects of current ripple due to the low inductance. In order to sufficiently meet the inductance requirements you can use the IB-98000 to raise the motor's inductance. More information on the IB-98000 can be found here: http://www.galil.com/download/application-note/note5492.pdf
