I see that in the Viewer of the just-released GalilSuite, analog inputs on a DMC-40x0 are displayed in what I presume is the raw output of the A/D converter, rather than converted to engineering units (Volts) as is done in GalilTools and earlier software. This is rather useless information. Even if one new how to convert the value to Volts, doing so would be a pain. Also, I see the analog inputs are listed one the same lines as the axes, even though all DMC-40x0s have 8 inputs, regardless of the number of axes. I have tried GS on a DMC-4080 only, so I see all 8 inputs, but on controllers with fewer axes, are some AIs omitted?

Sorry for the delay, my forum settings were incorrect.

Thank you for the feedback. I agree that the raw ADC counts are not as useful as volts. User scalars are on our feature list. Incidentally, you can get this scaling information feature in the scope.
Advanced Options -> Drop Down -> Raw Data and Signed Number
Change these settings to match your AQ settings.

Also, analog inputs are part of the data record in the "Axis Information" block. So on an 8 axis controller, all 8 analog inputs are in the data record. On a 4 axis controller, only 4 are present.

If monitoring of an unmapped analog input is desired, the user variables can be used by loading the value of the ADC into the user data fields in a thread loop.
