Hey~ I am trying to use CDS3310 to control a stepper motor, is there a way to output a square wave from the motion controller to the motor? Also, my lite version of the software only displays one Analog Inputs, how can I configure it so I can access to all of the eight inputs from the extension board DB 28040 and the two Analog Inputs on the board? Thank you soooooo much for your help><

Hello,
The CDS-3310 was designed to be used with an internal brushless drive. The command signals (step and dir) for steppers are not brought out to a connector.

I suggest a DMC-30010 single-axis motion controller for an app that requires an external drive. This family also has internal stepper drives (DMC-30016 and DMC-30017). See more info here:

The Watch and Scope display the data record of the controller. Not all 8 values are in the data record.
Please see the data record section in chapter 4:

Note, the CDS-3310 only has axis "A"

However, you can store this data into arrays, poll it from the host PC, or message it out with MG.
