I'm new to servo tuning, and I just purchased galil tools, full version. The video makes it look easy, using WSDK. Is there a way to use galil tools to do the tuning, and watch it on the scope? Also I have no idea how to set up the scope, so I can view the overshoot in real time, and tune the servos properly.

Hello,
I suggest starting with this 2 minute video:

Also, please see the scope manual page:

and the tuner manual page:

When I try to use the WSDK it tells me the motor is off. How do I turn it on?

SH command

I thought I just had to click start, and the test would start. What is the best program to use to tune the servos? WSDK, or Galil Tools full version. I have both. J.P.

Your servo's need to be enabled before you start the tuning.
WSDK or GalilTools? - It depends:
GalilTools has an enhanced real-time scope, but the full tuning features available in WSDK are not yet implemented in GalilTools.
