Using SETUP32 to set parameters to DMC-2143

I have a DMC-2143. After using SETUP32 to set displayed parameters to it, it seems to stop to work. I have test this problem many times. For example, I connect the SETUP32 to the 2143, and then set parameters without changing any of them. After it burned the displayed parameters to 2143, the controller can not run any motion programmes. I have to perform a master reset to recover it.
Why?

What functions of the Setup 32 are you trying to use? What utility does it serve for you? The Setup 32 is an older software for this model controller. It would perhaps be beneficial to switch to GalilTools:
