I need to know before I purchase Galil tools complete version, if i can display regular variables on scope so I can compare them on metric units.

for example display master and slave position on milimeters (converted from pulses) in able to see the error on milmeters as well.

If you have an Accelera controller or the DMC-41x3 then you can use the ZA command to put integer variable data into the datarecord. You can have up to one variable per axis. The ZA command must be manually updated, usually through application code running on the controller.

Your example is with reference to data that is already in the datarecord and only needs to be scaled. In GalilTools you can setup the scaling for items in the datarecord.

Is Galil tools scope real time? does it affect the process in any way?

GalilTools scope is a real time scope.

There is a minimal increased communication overhead when running the scope.
