DMC-14x5

Single and Dual-Axis Motion Controllers With Ethernet/RS232

For new applications, Galil recommends the new DMC-3x01x single-axis controllers.

The DMC-1415 and DMC-1425 are economical, one and two axis motion controllers with an Ethernet 10Base-T and RS232 port. The controllers are available as a card-level product or in a metal enclosure with a power supply.

With a 32-bit microcomputer, the single and dual axis controllers provide such advanced features as PID compensation with velocity and acceleration feedforward, program memory with multitasking for simultaneously running two applications programs, and uncommitted I/O for synchronizing motion with external events. Modes of motion include point-to-point positioning, jogging, contouring, electronic gearing and ecam. The DMC-1415 single-axis controller accepts inputs from two encoders which is useful for electronic gearing applications. The DMC-1425 dual-axis controller includes linear and circular interpolation for precise, coordinated XY motion. The DMC-1425 can be specified to operate two servo or two stepper motors.

Like all Galil controllers , DMC-14x5 programming is simplified with two-letter, intuitive commands and a full set of software tools for servo tuning and analysis.
