The AMP-11x0 is an ICM-1100 interconnect module with servo amplifiers for direct connection to brush type servo motors. This unit is available with 1 - 4 servo amplifiers specified as AMP-1110 (1 amplifer), AMP-1120 (2 amplifiers), AMP-1130 (3 amplifiers) and AMP-1140 (4 amplifiers). The AMP-11x0 accepts the 60-pin main ribbon cable, the 26-pin auxiliary encoder cable and (2) 20-pin ribbon cables of the Legacy series controller. The AMP-11x0 provides screw terminals for quick and easy connection to system elements, such as encoders and external switches. Use one AMP-11x0 for every four axes (Two required for 5 or more axes).
Each amplifier provides 7 amps continuous, 10 amps peak at up to 80 Volts. The gain of the amplifier is 1 A/V and requires an external DC supply from 20 to 80 Volts. The minimum motor inductance is 1mH and the PWM frequency is 30Khz.
A version of the AMP-11x0 is also available without servo amplifiers (see ICM-1100)
