The AMP-19x0 is an ICM-1900 interconnect module with servo amplifiers for direct connection to brush type servo motors. This unit is available with 1 - 4 servo amplifiers specified as AMP-1910 (1 amplifer), AMP-1920 (2 amplifiers), AMP-1930 (3 amplifiers) and AMP-1940 (4 amplifiers). The AMP-19x0 accepts both the 100-pin main cable of the Optima series controller and the 25-pin auxiliary encoder cable and splits them into screw terminals for quick and easy connection to other system elements, such as encoders and external switches. Use one AMP-19x0 for every four axes (Two required for 5 or more axes).
Each amplifier provides 7 amps continuous, 10 amps peak at up to 80 Volts. The gain of the amplifier is 1 A/V and requires an external DC supply from 20 to 80 Volts. The minimum motor inductance is 1mH and the PWM frequency is 30Khz.
The AMP-19x0 is contained in a metal enclosure. A version of the AMP-19x0 is also available without servo amplifiers (see ICM-1900)
Specify -OPTO for optoisolation of the general outputs.
