Custom Interconnect Module
Galil's standard Interconnect Modules are ideal for prototyping as they break-out the controller cable into convenient screw terminals. For example, the ICM-1900 provides screw terminals for the Optima series 100-pin high density cable, and the ICM-1460 provides screw terminals for the Econo series 37-pin D type cable. While Galil's standard ICMs provide a quick and convenient interconnect solution, OEMs often require a custom interconnect solution that breaks-out only the signals that are used in their application. The resulting ICM is often smaller in size and lower in cost.
Galil can quickly and cost-effectively create a custom interconnect module to your specifications. Just let us know the signals you need, desired connector types and size constraints, and we will do the rest. Upon receipt of the completed worksheet, Galil will provide you with a quotation for the engineering charge, unit cost and lead- time.
Prices for the custom interconnect will vary based on desired features and connectors.
Typical one-time engineering charges range from $1000- $2500. Unit pricing ranges from $100-$250 in 100 quantity. Consult Galil for minimum quantity and lead time information.
