The DMC-1300 for the VME bus is a member of the Legacy Series, a prior generation of general-purpose controllers with a widely installed base. For new applications, Galil recommends the Optima series DMC-13x8 VME controller . The DMC-1300 controllers accommodate 1- through 8-axis formats and allow control of step or servo motors on any combination of axes. Any mode of motion can be programmed including linear and circular interpolation, contouring, and electronic gearing. Programming the DMC-1300 is simplified with two-letter, intuitive commands.
- Accepts up to 8 MHz encoder frequencies for servos and 2 MHz for steppers
