Release Notes for GalilTools


Enhancements from 1.4.1 to 1.4.0 include:
 *GalilTools Terminal.
  ^L^K now supported

 *GalilTools Editor.
  Line numbering no longer word-wraps for lines > 999

 *Build:
  PCI Drivers are now digitally signed for compatibility with Vista x64 and Windows 7 x64
  PCI Drivers are now installed silently

 *Various Visual Studio Libraries now available in the archive directory.


Enhancements from 1.3.0.0 to 1.4.0 include:
 *GalilTools Terminal.
  Splitter added. Now a command/response window, and an unsolicited message/event window.
  Syntax help added.

 *Project and DMC file handling:
 Project and configuration files default locations changed to:
  Windows: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Galil\
  Linux: $HOME/.config/Galil
 DMC files saved to:
  Windows: C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents
  Linx: $HOME/Documents
 Configuration files enhanced with more options.

 *Build:
  The GalilTools API and GUI are now static. QT libraries are no longer necessary.

 *Linux:
  RPM installer created for Linux.
  Installation of QT libraries is no longer required for the GUI or the API (GalilTools is now static).


Enhancements from 1.2.2.0 to 1.3.0.0 include:
 *GalilTools Project Support. Scope, Watch and other configurations now remembered.
 *Significant Scope enhancements including X-Y plots, Zoom, Export/Import/Recall, Derivative, Mouse Interaction with Scope, Overlay, and more
 *User-definable units, description, and scales for Watch and Scope
 *Ability to set Editor and Terminal Font
 *Full and Lite editions are now available from the same executable
 *API data record functions have been modified to support above enhancements
