Running Windows XP. Smart Term finds my DMC-1738 but Galil Tools does not.
I checked device manager, the controller is there and operating properly.
What am I doing wrong?

GalilTools does not support ISA-Based Controllers. The official list of supported controllers is:
GalilTools works with the DMC-40x0, 18x6, 41x3, 30010, 21x3, 18x2 board revision D and up, and RIO.
