This may belong under connection errors, but every time I run Scope, Watch, and even just executing a program several times in a row in GalilTools, I receive a Timeout Error. Sometimes sometimes they will run for a few minutes, and other times just a few seconds before timing out. Same error as if the controller was not even turned on. The controller is connected via Ethernet through a network hub.

Is the network shared with other devices or is it motion control only?

The network is mostly used for other devices. Only one controller is connected through the network, where printers and internet is also connected.

I recommend trying this on a closed network. This can be done with a second NIC card or with a router with port forwarding. If you are having timeouts, it is likely you are getting packet collisions. This means that the network traffic may be quite heavy.
