Hello, I have for years. been programming my operator interfaces in VB6. I would like suggestions on what I should learn for new op interface software. I do simple things in VB6 like displaying info from Galil, executing threads and sending variables. Our IT department would like update all software to currently support packages. They also want everything moved away from XP operating system. Although I do run VB6 on Win 7 machines, I want to make use of increased speed and data transfer with my pc's.
So, VB.net? Some form of C? VS? I have no clue as to what I should look into. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Allen

I think you should look at our gclib API.
