I defined PID settings to control a motor using the Galil DMC2020. I was able to control the position of this motor very precise.

Now I wanted to use a Galil controller DMC2230 to control 3 similar motors but I can not find PID settings which allow me to reach the same precision.

A difference between the first and the second set-up is the servo loop update rate. In the first setup it was 125s (using the ceramic firmware), in the second setup it is 1000s (normal firmware). Is this slower servo loop update responsible for the fact that I can not reach the same precision? Or should this not have any effect and should I be able to reach the same precision?

kind regards,
Thomas
