Hallo,
My old 18x2 isn't working.
I've installed the current Galil Tools 1.6.0.xx
I tried this way to fix the issue:
http://www.galilmc.com/support/manuals/galiltools/pci.html
But the device manager says the hardware couldn't be run (Code 10).
It's hard to open the PC right now so I cannot check the Rev. But I've used 1.0.0.0 before and I guess it's already too old for 1.6.0.xx.
-->> Where can I download older versions of Galil Tools supporting my 18x2?
Thank you for reading!

Patrick,
The PCI driver for GalilTools has not changed with regards to support for DMC-18x2 controllers. Make sure that your controller is Rev D or newer.
Previous versions of GalilTools can be found via the Archive link.
http://www.galilmc.com/support/software-downloads.php
Version 1.3.0.0 and newer are available.

Thank you for this information! This is a great help solving the issue.
I don't know why I haven't seen the "Archive"-Link, before. Must have appeared over night.
I had the chance to open the PC. It's a DMC-1812 Rev C.
Now I'll continue solving the Code10-Error and look for an answer if there is a way at all connecting it to Labview.
Thank you!

That GalilTools software packaged does not support Rev C DMC-1812 controllers. You will need to use SmartTerminal or another prior generation software package.
